A dance exploration of poverty, homelessness, and Over-the-Rhine

POV Photo only

Powerful, meaningful, sensual, poetic.  Very good use of space, the best show I have seen in a long time.”

Through technology and careful listening, we interviewed a range of people in our hometown, recording as many interviews as possible and creating a devised dance piece with a documentary video component. The piece will begin at Washington Park and will be site-specific and promenade in nature, meaning it will begin in the park and travel along the streets of OTR, stopping off in various indoor and outdoor spaces to view the documentary video created with the different voices and faces of poverty and homelessness in Cincinnati.

“A beautiful crescendo that invited me to play.”
